EXPANDED GLASS GRANULES

Expanded Glass Granules originate from recycled glass material transformed into white granules of various diameters in the process of granulation. Milled glass is mixed with blowing agents and then melt-down in extremely high temperature. During manufacture, different granular size glass from 0.045 mm to 16 mm and more are produced, with a bulk density starting from 140 and reaching up to 500 and more kg/m3.

Due to its porosity it keeps the air closed inside the granule. This technology is one of the most advanced and contributes to high thermal and acoustic insulation performance indicators. The quality studies show that expanded glass outperforms most competitive products in its market. Compared to other thermal insulation materials, expanded glass granules have many advantages such as easy to transport, prepare for application, and the price meets perfectly with product quality.

  • Low coefficient of thermal conductivity
  • Resistance
  • Fire resistance
  • Humidity resistance
  • Chemical and biological persistence
  • Cleanliness
  • Durability

The variety of fractions of expanded glass granules allows a very wide application. It can be used in agricultural sector, auto-motive, machinery, oil and gas, biofiltration sectors and more.

Granulated expanded foam-glass is widely used in construction as a loose product for thermo-isolation, or it can be used as a component part of the following products: dry mixtures, light concrete, blocks, finishing plates, drainage, products of stone mass, sound insulation products, fire-resistant products and etc.
